It was slightly over a year ago that we realised that we wanted to move to Cusco for a year to continue our work at Aldea Yanapay.
In that year we had lots of work, lots of exams and then lots of work again. Moving to Peru has been the finish-line of a pretty demanding six months. It's always been a way of justifying the pointless extra hours in the library or the extra hours at pretty thankless jobs. And now it's a day away but things still don't want to slot into the suitcases and somehow weigh more than they ever have...
On Saturday we will be in Cusco, inch'allah. Hopefully arriving in the open arms of the Yanapay family will take away some of the sting of all these goodbyes and moving so far away. This blog is intended to keep everyone in the loop of what we're up to and share some words, pictures and videos of our life in Peru. We'll miss y'all - don't be strangers.
